WINK WeatherWise

WINK WeatherWise

Due to the overwhelming response, this program is already booked for the entire year!

WINK is proud to offer an opportunity for your elementary students to learn about the weather.  Debuting in the 2007-2008 school year, WINK Meteorologists Amanda McDonald and Brian Monahan will present WINK WeatherWise.

The WINK WeatherWise program is targeted for the third and fourth grade curriculum.  The program works best for the students and the presenter if the students have at least started their weather unit.

It will consist of one 45- to 60-minute classroom session.  The session is initially being offered Wednesdays from September to August.  We hope that you find our sessions fun and educational for both students and teachers.

Additionally, WINK will telecast a digital picture of each week’s class during WINK News This Morning and WINK News This Morning weekend edition.

WINK will present a WINK WeatherWise certificate of completion to each student.   Each classroom will also receive a WINK WeatherWise thermometer.
